Let’s Start the Conversation – And Change the Future for Children
MBIMB Global Week Date of Event: 1 to 7 June 2026 is our moment to encourage families, teachers, and whole communities to “Start the Conversation” about body safety through music, colour, and shared action. This campaign brings together two vital goals — both simple, both life-changing.
Raising Awareness
Too many children stay silent because they don’t have the words to explain when something feels wrong.
The My Body Is My Body Programme changes that!
We want every parent, teacher, youth worker, and community leader to know that My Body Is My Body is a free, trusted, globally recognised programme available in 35+ languages and already used in 63 countries.
Our messages are clear and memorable for children:
- My Body Belongs To Me
- I Will Say “NO” To Secrets
- I Will Listen To My Feelings – If It Doesn’t Feel Right, I Won’t Do It
- I Will Tell a Trusted Adult if Something Feels Wrong or Uncomfortable
When adults understand these messages, we can start conversations early — the conversations that keep children safe.
Raising Much Needed Funding
Our biggest barrier is simple: schools need printed resources to teach body safety — and many can’t afford them.
Every penny raised helps us place real, child-friendly tools directly into classrooms:
- Bright coloured, illustrated children’s workbooks
- Teacher lesson plans and activities
- Classroom posters
- Translated materials for diverse communities
These books don’t sit on shelves — they start conversations, build confidence, and help children speak up.
Corporate support can transform entire schools, regions, or countries.
Your Support Creates Safer Futures
When you support this campaign, you’re not just donating. You are:
- Giving a child the words they need to ask for help
- Equipping a teacher to run body-safety lessons with ease
- Helping families understand how to protect their children
- Bringing life-changing resources to communities that need them most
Together, we can make sure every child grows up safe, strong, and heard.
Together, we can make body-safety education available to every school — at no cost.
Together, we can build safer futures for children everywhere.
