The My Body is My Body Foundation does NOT permit you to Present this programme to children. As Ambassadors and Program Presenters, you will have to gain consent to present the programme to children through your NGO, Foundation, School or any other approved Educational Association.
Ambassadors and Program Presenters must be aware when using social media that they are subject to the full range of laws applying to other communications, including copyright, breach of confidence, defamation, privacy, contempt of court, harassment, vilification and anti-discrimination legislation, and criminal laws. Social media can be the subject of legal proceedings.
My Body Is My Body Programme will accept no liability which arises due to Ambassador’s use (or misuse) of social media sites. Any views expressed by Ambassadors and Program Presenters are their own and ought not to be presented as though they represent the views of My Body is My Body Foundation. In all communications, Ambassadors must not bring the My Body Is My Body Programme into disrepute.
In appointing you as an Ambassador or Program Presenter, My Body Is My Body Foundation does not enter into a contract with you. The letter of appointment and the guidelines are there to help the Ambassador and Program Presenter feel supported and clear about their role. The Ambassador or Program Presenter is not an Agent of the Organisation. You will act ‘In aid of’ and not ‘On behalf’ of My Body Is My Body Foundation and our obligations to Ambassadors and Program Presenters will reflect this fact.
Whatever the level of commitment an Ambassador or Program Presenter is able to give will recognise, and their contribution greatly valued. In return, the Ambassador or Program Presenter will be expected to follow the letter and spirit of our policies and procedures, meet mutually agreed time commitments, or give notice if this is not possible.
The Ambassador and Program Presenters role is primarily as an awareness volunteer to share information about the programme and community information about Child Abuse Prevention. Therefore, you will not be reimbursed for travel or any other expenses incurred.
My Body Is My Body Foundation will accept no liability which arises due to an Ambassador or Program Presenters activities. At all times, please stay within the programme guides, which you will all have access to in detail.
As Ambassadors or Program Presenters for the My Body Is My Body Programme are based in different parts of the world, you agree to uphold all legal requirements for your Country of Residence. It is also your duty report immediately any Child Abuse to your local authorities, and at all times, have the safety of children as your main priority.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you also state that:
1. You have never been involved in court proceedings concerning a child for whom you have parental responsibility.
2. There has never been any cause for concern regarding your conduct with children?
3. You have never been charged or convicted of a criminal offence: or are you at present the subject of criminal investigations.
Please Note:
“The intellectual property rights of all videos and content provided to you belong to the My Body is My Body Foundation and cannot be copied, renamed, reused, translated or sold by anyone without the express written consent of the My Body is My Body Foundation. If any such incident is brought to the notice, such person shall be liable for both civil and criminal action.“
On May 25th 2018 a new Data Protection Law came into force, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By signing this document you agree that you permit me to keep a record of your personal data i.e name, contact numbers and email address, and also that I am able to contact you by email, phone call, WhattsApp, Text message or messenger.
The My Body Is My Body Programme will only hold information on our Ambassadors, Committee Members and people interested in helping us with the programme. Information kept will include your email, Facebook connection, Telephone number.
Your information will be stored securely on our computer system and will not be accessed by any other person. If you decide not to be an Ambassador, Programme Presenter or Committee member or wish to have your information removed from our system, please notify us, and we will delete your information.
At no time will your information be shared with any third party.
