A Course for Young Teens on Navigating Peer Pressure
Important Information for Children and Parents
Our courses are designed to keep children safe and empower them with body safety knowledge.
All personal data is protected in line with UK GDPR and the Children’s Code.
Children under 13 years old should not create an account on their own. A parent, guardian, or teacher must register on their behalf. Young people aged 13–17 may register with parental or teacher awareness and support. We encourage parents and teachers to take part alongside children, so that conversations about safety can continue at home and in the classroom.
Hey there and welcome to Standing Strong, an interesting course designed just for you to understand Peer pressure. Life as a teen is full of fun, friendships, and new experiences, but sometimes it can also feel like a lot to handle—especially when it comes to peer pressure. Don’t worry if you’re not sure what that means yet! This course is here to break it all down and give you the tools to feel confident, make smart choices, and stay true to yourself.
In this six-module course, you’ll discover:
- What peer pressure is and how it shows up in places like school, friendships, and even online.
- The difference between positive peer pressure (like friends encouraging you to try something great) and negative peer pressure (like being pushed to do something that doesn’t feel right).
- How to say “NO” with confidence and feel good about it.
- Who you can turn to for help—like parents, teachers, or friends—when things get tricky.
- How to practice real-life situations so you’re ready to handle peer pressure like a pro.
Each module includes fun videos with a friendly animated host, activities to help you think through what you’ve learned, and quick quizzes to check your understanding. By the end of this course, you’ll feel like a Standing Strong Expert, ready to make choices that are right for YOU and build friendships that make you feel great.
So, grab a comfy seat, get ready to learn, and let’s start this journey together! We’re here to help you every step of the way. Let’s dive into Module 1 and find out what peer pressure is all about!
