Every Child Deserves to Feel Safe

Small Projects. Big Impact.

Every Rotary Club can help create safer communities for children.

The My Body Is My Body (MBIMB) Programme provides free, positive and age-appropriate body-safety education through music, animated videos, activities and conversations.

You don’t need to deliver the programme yourself. Choose a simple project, connect MBIMB with trusted adults in your community and help make child-safety education available to more children.

What is the My Body Is My Body Programme?

The My Body Is My Body Programme is a free, internationally recognised musical body-safety programme designed to help children understand simple safety messages they can remember and use.

Through six positive songs, animated videos, activities and supporting resources, MBIMB helps parents, teachers and community leaders begin important conversations with children about body safety, feelings, speaking up and asking for help.

Helping Children Understand Body Safety

MBIMB gives children clear, memorable messages while helping trusted adults begin gentle, age-appropriate conversations.

1

My Body Belongs to Me

Children learn that their body belongs to them.

2

I Can Say No

Children learn that they can say no when something feels wrong or uncomfortable.

3

My Feelings Matter

Children learn to recognise and listen to their feelings and instincts.

4

I Can Move Away

Children learn simple ways to respond when a situation does not feel right.

5

I Can Tell

Children learn who their safe grown-ups are and how to ask for help.

6

I Can Keep Telling

Children learn to keep telling safe grown-ups until someone listens and helps.

“When children remember the songs, they remember the safety messages.”

Become A MBIMB Advocate

Learn • Share • Connect

A simple way to help create safer communities for children.

You do not need to present the programme to children or become an MBIMB Ambassador. An MBIMB Advocate helps more people discover the programme by learning about it, sharing the resources and connecting MBIMB with suitable organisations and community projects.

STEP 1 | LEARN

Learn about MBIMB

Complete our free, self-paced online learning and discover how MBIMB works.

Learn about child safeguarding, prevention education and the messages children experience through the programme.

Start Learning
STEP 2 | SHARE

Share the Resources

Talk about MBIMB within your Rotary Club and community.

Share our free resources with schools, teachers, parents, libraries, sports organisations, charities and community groups.

STEP 3 | CONNECT

Open Doors

Introduce MBIMB to schools, charities, NGOs, sports clubs, community organisations and other Rotary Clubs.

Open doors — without needing to deliver the programme yourself.

Important safeguarding note

Children’s Safety Must Always Come First

MBIMB resources should be shared through a school, organisation or responsible community setting where children are supported by trusted adults.

Adults delivering the programme should understand appropriate safeguarding boundaries and follow their organisation’s safeguarding procedures and relevant local reporting requirements if a child shares a concern.

Being an MBIMB Advocate does not mean working independently with children. An Advocate’s role is to learn, share and connect.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Service Above Self in Action

One school. One library. One sports club. One community.

A simple Rotary project can create opportunities for children to learn safety messages that may stay with them for years to come.

Together, we can help children feel safer, speak up and know that they matter.
