My Body Is My Body (MBIMB) – Ambassador, Volunteer & Presenter Terms and Conditions

Thank you for joining the My Body Is My Body (MBIMB) Programme.
You are welcome to use our resources for your personal learning, and if you are a teacher, you are welcome to use them in your classroom.
If you would like to share the programme more widely in your community, we kindly ask that you become an MBIMB Ambassador so that you can be supported and guided in using the materials correctly.
The MBIMB Foundation does not permit you to present this programme to children independently.
As an Ambassador or Programme Presenter, you must obtain consent to present the programme to children through your NGO, foundation, school, or other approved educational association.
When using social media, Ambassadors and Programme Presenters must follow all applicable laws. These include copyright and privacy laws, as well as rules on defamation, contempt of court, harassment, and anti-discrimination. In addition, you are also responsible for complying with relevant criminal law.
The MBIMB Foundation accepts no liability for your use (or misuse) of social media.
Any views you express are your own and must not be represented as the official views of MBIMB.
You must not bring MBIMB into disrepute through your communications.
Being an MBIMB Ambassador or Programme Presenter is a voluntary role and does not create an employment or contract relationship with the Foundation. You are not expected to act as an official representative of MBIMB, but rather to support our mission “in aid of” the programme.
Your appointment letter and the guidelines we provide are simply there to help you feel supported, confident, and clear about your role as you share our message in your community.
We value any level of commitment you are able to give.
In return, you are expected to:
The Ambassador/Presenter role is primarily about raising awareness and sharing information about child abuse prevention.
This is a voluntary role; travel or other expenses will not be reimbursed.
The MBIMB Foundation accepts no liability arising from Ambassador or Presenter activities.
You must always remain within the programme guidelines, which are available to you in full.
“The intellectual property rights of all videos and content provided to you belong to the My Body is My Body Foundation and cannot be copied, renamed, reused, translated or sold by anyone without the express written consent of the My Body is My Body FouAs an Ambassador or Presenter, you must comply with the laws of your country of residence.
You must immediately report any child abuse concerns to your local authorities.
The safety and wellbeing of children must always be your highest priority.
You have never been involved in court proceedings concerning a child in your care.
There has never been cause for concern regarding your conduct with children.
You have never been charged with, or convicted of, a criminal offence, and are not currently the subject of criminal investigations.
All intellectual property rights of videos, songs, and content provided to you belong to the MBIMB Foundation.
Content may not be copied, renamed, reused, translated, or sold without the express written consent of MBIMB.
Any misuse of MBIMB content may result in both civil and criminal action.
If you wish to share any photographs, videos, or audio recordings that include children engaging with the MBIMB Programme, you must first obtain documented permission from parents/guardians and, where applicable, from the school or organisation involved.
Where possible, we encourage using non-identifiable recordings (such as filming the backs of children’s heads or blurring faces).
No identifiable images or videos of children may be shared publicly, or submitted to MBIMB for awareness or training purposes, without verified parental/guardian consent.
Parents and schools must be informed that they may withdraw consent at any time, and MBIMB will act promptly to remove such material from our platforms if requested.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), MBIMB may keep a record of your personal data (e.g., name, contact numbers, and email address) for the purposes of communication and programme administration.
We may contact you via email, phone, WhatsApp, text, or messenger.
Information stored includes your email, telephone number, and any social media connection you provide.
Your data will be stored securely and only accessed by authorised personnel.
If you cease to be an Ambassador, Programme Presenter, or Committee Member, or wish your data to be removed, please notify us and we will delete your information.
At no time will your personal data be shared with third parties without your consent.
You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time.
